Mean annual occupancy estimates
This file contains mean annual occupancy for all 390 species, study years (1970/1980-2020) and study regions (9 bioclimatic zones) as estimated from occupancy-detection models (MCMC: 4 chains, 1000 warmup each, 1000 sampling each). Each row corresponds to a unique combination of species, year and zone. The following columns are included:
- **species**: Species name used in analyses
- **year**: Year of the observation
- **biogeo_elevation**: Bioclimatic zone of the observation, which is a combination of 5 biogeographic regions (Jura, Plateau, Nothern Alps, Central Alps, Southern Alps) and 2 elevational classes (high: above 1000 m. asl, low: below 1000 m. asl)
- **n_squares**: Number of 1 km x 1 km squares of the respective zone, which were included in the analyses
- **occ_m\_i[....]**: Mean annual occupancy estimates. Each column corresponds to one iteration of the MCMC sampling (4000 columns in total).
