ATREE Q-Methodology Data on Forest Clearances Offsetting
The data was collected in a workshop setting and they thus conducted their sorts individually, but not in an interview setting together with the interviewer, but alone but in interaction with other workshop participants. Hence, they had the possibility to discuss in groups or also with a wider number of participants. The independence of the answers is thus not fully guaranteed, however, observation during the workshop suggests that the participants were all sufficiently self-dependent, were able to do the sorts based on their experience and expertise and were not influenced heavily by other perspectives. The data is anonymized insofar, as there are no names of individual participants and not even names of organizations but only of types organizationa. The data should be ready to be analyzed with the "qmethod" package in R (as of Feburary 2021). Please note that this also requires data on the statements which are also included here in Englisch (short version) and German (original version).
